We are looking for an experienced Principal Advisor - Artificial Intelligence Consultant to support the ongoing development of our client's AI practice. This strategic role will help shape and guide the responsible implementation of AI across complex environments. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to embed ethical, scalable, and secure AI solutions, ensuring alignment with international standards and organisational goals.

  • Advise on AI strategy, maturity, and governance frameworks.
  • Promote and implement Responsible AI (RAI) principles across projects.
  • Support the development of scalable AI architectures and models.
  • Integrate analytics governance with data management and policy enforcement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure traceability, accountability, and fairness in AI systems.

  • Deep understanding of AI theory and ethics, including: AI maturity frameworks, Responsible AI principles, Bias/fairness metrics, Explainable AI (XAI) techniques, AI governance standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 42001, GDPR)
  • ML/DL Expertise: Advanced knowledge of supervised, unsupervised, and evolutionary ML paradigms; strong skills in model design, evaluation, and optimisation.
  • AI Implementation Experience: Proven track record delivering scalable and generalisable AI models and architectures, ideally within Defence or government organisations.
  • Analytics Governance: Experience integrating AI governance with data management, including policy and security engines for analytics products.
