We're seeking a mature, confident Operations & Sales Support Administrator to partner with Branch Manager and top-performing salesperson Racheal Milne. With multiple Premier and Executive awards across many consecutive years, Racheal is recognised as one of Christchurch's leading agents. Working with her means learning from someone who delivers exceptional results, communicates with clarity, and sets a high standard for client care.

Professional, grounded, and genuinely dedicated to her clients, Racheal is trusted for her expertise and her direct, supportive approach during what is often a major life transition for sellers.

You'll be joining a close-knit, fun, and supportive team at Barrington — an office known for its positive culture, strong work ethic, and ability to enjoy the journey while delivering outstanding service.

Immediate Start is available. We envisage the role will require 20 hours a week.

Key Responsibilities

You'll be involved in a wide range of responsibilities, including:

Client & Vendor Care

  • Managing Racheal's diary, booking appointments
  • Drafting correspondence and nurturing client relationships
  • Conducting surveys, sourcing testimonials, preparing buyer alerts

Sales & Listing Support

  • Preparing pre-listing kits, appraisal packs, vendor reports and auction submissions
  • Coordinating photographers, signage, keys, marketing materials and deadlines
  • Managing email campaigns, OFI communication, newsletters and database updates

Marketing & Prospecting

  • Creating property advertising, editorials, flyers and mail drops
  • Monitoring activity in the area and preparing promotional campaigns
  • Supporting self-promotion and brand-building activities

Operational Excellence

  • Managing checklists, systems and compliance
  • Liaising with solicitors and the NSR Support Centre
  • Coordinating inspections, valuations, contracts and other key steps

Key Skills and Attributes

We're seeking a mature, self-assured, detail-oriented person who genuinely enjoys supporting others to succeed.

  • Be organised, calm, and in control — even on busy days
  • Be confident enough to keep Racheal on track (she appreciates a strong Type A personality who can give her a push when needed)
  • Bring professionalism, warmth, and common sense
  • Take ownership, show initiative, and think ahead
  • Present confidently and communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing

You do not need to be a licensed salesperson — just highly capable, committed, and ready to contribute.
