He angitūtanga / The opportunity:

We're looking for a confident and service-driven Lounge Supervisor to lead our team at the prestigious Air New Zealand International Lounge in Christchurch Airport. In this role, you'll oversee daily lounge operations, lead a team that "surprises and delights" guests, and ensure every customer enjoys a seamless and premium experience. You'll be responsible for maintaining high standards across food, beverage, and customer service while supporting the Lounge Manager. This is a Casual Position with hours of work are on "as and when" required basis upon business needs.

Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:

• Supervise and allocate tasks to team members, ensuring smooth lounge operations.
• Deliver transformational customer service and recognise team members who go above and beyond.
• Maintain lounge cleanliness, presentation, and food safety standards.
• Prepare and serve espresso coffee and alcoholic beverages responsibly.
• Assist with rostering, training, and stock management to support operational excellence.

He kōrero mōu / About you:

• Proven experience in a similar hospitality or supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with a team-focused mindset.
• Flexible, reliable, and physically fit with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Holds a General Manager's Certificate (Liquor Service), Police Clearance, and AVSEC clearance.
• Committed to maintaining high standards of personal presentation, hygiene, and service.
