NP Hort Limited is seeking motivated and dependable Team Leaders to join our team in the Bay of Plenty region. The company continues to grow and requires capable individuals who can lead teams efficiently and ensure tasks are completed to a high standard. The candidates will be required to travel within the Bay of Plenty region for the performance of duties, and the cost of travel and fuel will be borne by the employer.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily work activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Support the Manager in meeting operational goals and maintaining work within budget.
  • Oversee field activities to help maintain consistent quality and productivity.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members while ensuring compliance with company policies and health and safety standards.
  • Assist in training and mentoring staff and contractors during operational periods.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, timesheets, and working hours.
  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and allocating daily tasks.
  • Monitor team performance and share feedback or suggestions with the Manager.

You will be required to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week and will be paid between $26 to $32 per hour.

Other requirements:

  • Prior work experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Available to work on weekends and start as early as 8:00 AM.
  • A valid and clean driver's license is required.
  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
  • Good leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Capable of planning and prioritising tasks to ensure smooth operations.
  • Physically fit and able to work long hours in varying weather conditions.
  • Reliable, hardworking, and committed to maintaining high work standards.
