About the role:

This role is based in our Nelson Hunter Home/La-Z-Boy showroom, working a total of 16.5 hours per week across Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays. The ideal candidate would also have flexibility to cover leave on other days.

As a valued member of our team at Hunter Home/La-Z-Boy, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to the success of our business. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting customers in selecting furniture that meets their needs and preferences.
  • Providing product information, demonstrating features, and answering customer inquiries.
  • Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintaining a clean and inviting showroom environment.
  • Collaborating with teammates to achieve sales targets and operational goals.
  • Upholding our commitment to high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

The Ideal Candidate:

We're looking for a passionate individual who shares our enthusiasm for furniture and interior design. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Previous retail sales experience, preferably in furniture or a related industry.
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanour.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • A proactive attitude and the willingness to learn about our products and industry trends.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
  • A genuine interest in providing outstanding service and building lasting relationships with our customers.
