We are working with a client in the financial services sector who is looking to bring on a
Business Development Manager
to help drive growth across New Zealand. The role is centered on building strong relationships, sourcing new lending opportunities, and raising brand presence among brokers, advisers, developers, and SMEs.

This is a hands-on position where you'll be representing the business in the market, creating new networks, and ensuring a healthy pipeline of quality opportunities. You'll also play a key part in shaping strategy through market insights and by working closely with the internal credit and investment teams to deliver a seamless client experience.

What you'll bring:

  • 5–10+ years in business development, sales, or relationship management (ideally in financial services, lending, or property finance)
  • A strong record of achieving business growth and sales targets
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Level 5 Certification in Lending (preferred but not essential)
  • High integrity, motivation, and the ability to work independently while building strong networks
