Bluewave Trading Limited is hiring a full-time Store Manager in Auckland. Apply now to be part of our team.

This is a permanent, full-time role, and we offer a minimum guaranteed 30 hours per week of work and the opportunity to do overtime. We offer competitive remuneration of $28- $35 per hour based on qualification or experience.

Key Responsibilities

Store Operations and Management

  • Manage the day-to-day running of the store to ensure smooth operations and high standards.
  • Plan and organise daily tasks to achieve sales goals and support business growth.
  • Keep the store clean, organised, and well-presented at all times.
  • Responsible for designing and executing marketing and purchasing policies, and accordingly work to increase sales.
  • Formulate service standards for the business for effective business operations.

Stock and Sales

  • Deciding on what products to keep and remove from the business, and introducing new products to the store to meet customer demands.
  • Order, receive, and check stock to maintain the right product levels.
  • Set product prices and help plan promotions to increase sales and profit.
  • Record and review monthly sales and budgets to track performance.

Staff and Customer Service

  • Supervise and guide staff to keep them motivated and performing well.
  • Hire and train new team members to provide good customer service.
  • Assist customers by understanding their needs and helping them find the right products.

Compliance and Safety

  • Ensure the store follows company policies and health and safety rules at all times.

About you:

· A Diploma or higher qualification gained in business/ management/administration is required to effectively perform the duties of this role.

· In the absence of a required qualification, at least one year or more of proven New Zealand work experience in the retail industry is required.

· Ability to work flexible rostered shifts, including weekends, public holidays, and late evenings.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a positive, customer-focused attitude.

· Motivated to drive sales, meet targets, and deliver excellent results.

· Knowledge of stock management and inventory control processes is preferable
