With physician led, world class research units located in Auckland, Christchurch, Hamilton and Wellington, NZCR conducts complex early phase clinical research in healthy participant and patient populations.

The role:

We are offering both permanent full time and permanent part time positions, as well as potentially a full-time fixed term opportunity commencing mid 2026.

To excel in this role, you should have some relevant New Zealand hospital or clinical experience as a doctor and a keen interest in pharmaceutical research and its impact on developing new treatments and biotechnologies. This is an excellent opportunity for a doctor to embark on a career in research and grow into a pharmaceutical research specialist.

What you will bring:

• Excellent clinical skills
• Good organisational skills – able to manage timeframes and deadlines.
• Excellent Clinical practice and interpersonal skills
• New Zealand Medical Council Registration, relevant qualifications and the Right to Work in NZ with a current Annual Practicing Certificate
