Alpino Cambridge is on the hunt for a new Duty Manager

Located in the heart of Cambridge, Alpino is a the local favourite and staple for dining in the area. We offer our guests traditional Italian dishes as well as a large selection of carefully chosen local & international wines.

A fantastic opportunity has opened up for strong and passionate FOH legend to work in one of the best Italian restaurants in the country.

For the right person we offer:

  • Excellent hourly wage package based on relative experience. 27 to 28$ per hour based on experience.

  • 35-45 hours

  • A commitment to invest in your professional and personal development via Industry courses/management programs/in house coaching and mentoring.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Great passion for wine, spirits and food.

  • Professional work ethic.

  • Ability and willingness to train and impart knowledge to junior staff

  • Duty Manager certificate or willingness to obtain

  • Strive towards being the best, personal and team growth, with a lead from      the front mentality.

  • Min. of 2 years working in restaurants in New Zealand or abroad.

  • Excellent and transparent communicator.

  • Strong organisational skills and time management.

  • Ability to multitask and great communication skills.

  • Flexible availability.

  • Humble attitude.
