We need you to be available to be rostered to work between Monday to Sunday 6am to 7pm

  • Hours per week: 30 to 40 hours per week
  • Location: Auckland
  • Minimum Experience: At least three years in a similar role backed with good references and experience certificates

  • Wages $29- $32 per hour

About the Role:

We're looking for energetic, compassionate person with  a caring nature and a positive attitude, We have a role based in home.

You will assist our clients to care for and supervise children in a residential home.

· Caring for Children: Provide support with daily living tasks such as meal planning and preparation based on the children's dietary needs or preferences, as well as assisting with materials and resources for children's educational activities.

· Home Management: Carry out routine household duties, including cleaning, laundry, and general organisation, to ensure a clean, safe, and hygienic living environment.

· Understanding Young Children: Monitor and supervise children in the home and in daily activities outside.

· Health and Safety: A basic understanding of maintaining a safe environment in the home.

About you

  • Experience: Previous childcare or nanny experience in a centre or home based setting is required of at least 3 years OR a qualification recognised  at NZQA Level 4 and above in nanny or early childhood education.

  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish trust and rapport with clients. Able to speak English as well as Hindi or Gujrati

  • Personality: A compassionate, patient, and empathetic attitude, with a genuine desire to help others.

  • Driver License: Preferably have full or restricted driver's licence to be considered for the role

  • Working Rights: Be eligible to work in New Zealand, You must have the right to work in New Zealand and you will be required to undergo police vetting and additional checks in order to be considered for this position.

  • At least 3 years experience or a qualification at NZQA Level 4 and above in nanny or early childhood education.

  • Preferred to have a Full or restricted driver licence
  • Must have Language skills in English and Hindi or Gujrati
