Fabricator / Prepping & Machining Technician

(Experience with Fairview Systems Required)

About the Role:

AIS is seeking an experienced Fabricator – Prepping & Machining Technician to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with strong aluminium fabrication skills and hands-on experience using Fairview Systems for machining, prepping, and production work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pre-cut preparation of aluminium bars and profiles
• Drilling, countersinking, and milling to shop-drawing requirements
• Loading Bars into punch & drill jigs
• Labeling and identifying prepared components
• Quality checking hole alignment, spacing, and tolerances
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient workstation
• Working collaboratively within the production team to meet project deadlines

Skills & Experience Required:

• Mandatory: Proven experience using Fairview Systems
• Ability to read and interpet joinery shop drawings
• Precision measurement down to mm tolerances
• Mechanical handling of aluminium extrusion
• Previous aluminium fabrication or machining experience
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Reliability, good communication skills, and a strong work ethic
