Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Blenheim for a TIG Welder. The TIG Welder will be responsible for welding Sheetmetal and piping systems, following welding protocols and procedures, and ensuring all welds meet specified standards. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting drawings, maintaining welding equipment, and performing quality checks on finished products.

Qualifications

• Proficient in TIG welding techniques and procedures, ideally AS/NZS 2980
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Experience with Sheetmetal fabrication and pipework services
• Knowledge of welding standards and quality control
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Physical fitness to handle the demands of the job
• Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
