iQualify is a Learning Experience Platform (LXP) owned by Open Polytechnic and is offered as a software-as-a-service product to hundreds of organisations and hundreds of thousands learners. This role is based at our Lower Hutt Campus.
We are looking for an Intermediate Full Stack Developer to join a broad product team. The role is responsible for:
- Software development of features end to end for the iQualify platform
- Enhancing, improving and maintaining features of the iQualify platform
- Assisting and maintaining software development application practices

What you'll need:
- Experience as a Full Stack Developer
- Extensive programming experience in web application development technologies including Angular, Node JS, Javascript, CSS, HTML(5)
- Experience with lean, agile and XP development practices
- Experience with NoSQL and other document databases
- Experience with effective use of development platforms and tools
- Experience in leading development projects and mentoring team members
- Experience working within a team in applications development
- Experience with cloud platforms
- Loads of passion for helping build incredible learning experiences

- Has experience working with software platforms and tools to make people's lives easier
- Is right at home troubleshooting and diagnosing potential issues. Diving into the technical details is your thing.
- Has ability to architect and deliver scalable, reliable solutions
- Has well-developed problem solving skills - you'll need these every day
- Is able to think proactively, anticipate problems and work with team members to implement innovative solutions
- Is a results-orientated approach to initiative
- Has great relationship building skills
