About the role
CARTERS Thames has an opportunity for a Customer Service Representative to join their busy Yard team. This physical role involves picking and packing orders, and operating a fork lift to load product onto delivery trucks.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and pride themselves on exceptional service and delivery to our customers in a timely, professional, and safe manner. With your high energy and can-do attitude, you can expect to:
- Load and unload building materials either with a forklift or manual handling
- Carry out customer deliveries efficiently and on time and in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Pick and assemble customer orders.
- Process sales documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service to all customers on and off site.
About you
The ideal candidate will have a commitment to outstanding customer service and support and have the following skills and qualities:
- Full, Clean NZ Drivers Licence
- Forklift Licence ideally, (F Endorsed is a bonus)
- A team player with the right attitude.
- A real people person with a natural talent for building trust and rapport with our customers.
- Basic computer skills
- Proven awareness of health and safety legislation in this industry.
- Physically fit for the occasional heavy lifting and manual handling
- Building industry knowledge is advantageous.
