Tenancy Housekeeper

The Hermitage team are looking for a Tenancy Housekeeper to start in January and ensure staff accommodation, is clean, set, and ready for our staff on arrival; as well checked again on departure.

Working across our tenancy portfolio in the stunning Aoraki/Mount Cook Alpine Village you will work closely with the housekeeping, HR, and Maintenance teams, to ensure our staff accommodation ready for occupancy, and any maintenance issues are recorded.

What you will be doing

• Performing all tenancy housekeeping activities in a timely manner to ensure staff rooms are serviced for occupancy.
• Driving a manual vehicle for daily operational needs, including staff pickups and departures.
• Moving and arranging furniture as required.
• Working closely with HR to ensure accurate management of the property portfolio.
• Ensuring any room maintenance requirements or issues are reported to maintenance or escalated as needed.
• Following our company procedures and using the correct cleaning materials and equipment
• Managing the order of linen and other items for staff properties.
• Supporting the maintenance and housekeeping teams as required.
• Cleaning community areas such as gym, as well as some restrooms.
• Monitor the tenancy inbox, respond to enquiries promptly, and keep residents informed of arrivals and departures.

What you will bring to the role

• 6 months experience in housekeeping or commercial cleaning is essential is preferred.
• Comparable role in hospitality and tourism is desired.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• A confident and safe driver, you hold a full clean NZ Driver's license or international equivalent and ability to drive manual/stick.
• Excellent attention to detail, and able to self-manage.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A collaborative approach and willingness to help others.

• Full-time permanent position, working a minimum of 60 hours per fortnight.
