We are currently looking for an Early Morning Cleaner at Westfield, Riccarton. Other duties will be required from time to time with associated commercial cleaning tasks.

Shift Details:

  • Tuesday-Saturday - 3am-8.30am = 27.5 paid hours/week.
  • You must be available for all shifts.

About you:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age due to health and safety policies.
  • Eligibility to work in New Zealand - Have a valid New Zealand Work Visa, Resident Visa, or Citizenship.
  • Have a Full Driver's License or live within close walking distance to Westfield Mall.
  • Ride on Machinery experience preferred.
  • Detail commercial cleaning experience preferred.
  • Pass a Ministry of Justice (Criminal Conviction History) check.
  • Physically fit to do the job - it's hard work.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • A reliable work ethic with great customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, following training and instructions.
  • You must have good English communication skills, as all instructions and training are in English only.

About the role:

  • Perform a wide range of cleaning duties to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the shopping mall.
  • Utilize specialized cleaning equipment and techniques to handle specific cleaning tasks.
  • Collaborate with the Contract Manager and other stakeholders to address any specific cleaning requirements or concerns.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, ensuring an adequate stock is always held.
  • Assist with other cleaning duties and tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, promoting a safe working environment for yourself, your team, and Mall visitors.
