The Role

We have a new opportunity to become part of our wonderful team:

• Providing excellent care to residents that is person centred and maximises independence
• Building strong relationships and a sense of community with residents and families
• Working collaboratively and supportively with the team
• Committing to ongoing professional development

• Role is based on a rolling variable shift roster; no fixed shifts are available:

• Day shift 6.30am to 3.30pm

• Evening shift 3.00pm to 11.30pm
• Night shift 11:30pm to 7.00am.

About You

This is a role that will suit a Caregiver who:

• Has a Level 4 or higher NZQA qualification in Health Care and Wellbeing
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in providing excellent resident-focused care for the elderly
• Has medication competency and Medi-map trained
• Can work rostered shifts Mon-Sun
• Is friendly and an approachable communicator
• Is flexible and adaptable
• Has a big heart and a passion for caring with a kind, & considerate attitude
• Has the right to work in New Zealand
• Available to work across two of our sites Pakuranga Park Village and Remuera Gardens.
• Own reliable transport
