We are seeking a skilled and motivated Steel Erector to join our dynamic team on a permanent basis. In this role, you will play a crucial part in constructing robust and durable steel frameworks for a variety of construction projects in Christchurch. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the foundation of our projects, ensuring structural integrity and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assembling and erecting steel structures according to project specifications and blueprints
• Ensuring all work complies with relevant safety standards and building codes
• Collaborating effectively with team members to complete projects on time and within budget
• Inspecting and maintaining tools and equipment to guarantee operational safety
• Identifying and troubleshooting any issues during the construction process

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Proven experience as a Steel Erector or in a similar role within the construction industry
• Strong understanding of steel structures and construction techniques
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
