This role is key to our field production process assisting with a wide variety of work out in the field, including operating and driving a range of machinery, working as part of our Waipukurau based small team ultimately resulting in producing seed to a high quality and meeting our compliance requirements.  The work required covers transplanting, roguing, machinery operation, harvesting - all working across the Hawkes Bay, offering lots of variety on a weekly basis.

You would be a great team player, who enjoys variety in your work.  Working outdoors unsupervised having a can-do attitude with a great work ethic.

During our harvest season we are controlled by mother nature and the locations of our crops across the Hawkes Bay requires applicants to hold a full drivers license, some days can be long to meet the demands of harvest, being flexible in your availability is certainly an advantage.

Having experience operating machinery would be an advantage, however full training will be provided so don't let this put you off, great work ethic, being an awesome team player with a willingness to learn is the key attribute.

This is a fixed term position commencing as soon as possible, for a 12 month fixed term contract, offering a competitive hourly rate, supportive team environment, and full training.
