Stock Truck Driver - Full Time

We're ramping up for the New Year and need one more gun of a stock truck driver to join the crew in the Wanaka/Central Otago area. Great gear, solid team, real variety, and the kind of office view most people only get on their holidays. Job Description:

Perform vehicle inspections before and after each trip

Report any truck maintenance needs

Day to day truck driving, livestock loading and unloading on farm and at processing plants

Job Requirements:

Maintain accurate electronic driving logs and delivery data

Maintain positive relationships with customers

Ensure operational costs are minimised and the efficiency of all operations are maintained, and where possible, enhanced

Be confident in handling livestock and a knowledge of animal welfare

Applicant Requirements:

Hold a full and current NZ Class 5 Drivers Licence and have rural driving experience

Pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test

Be able to work as part of a team, as well as unsupervised

Be committed to maintaining high standards of Health and Safety practice

Reliability, honesty, and excellent communication skills

Solid work ethic, positive attitude, and a willingness to learn

Truck and trailer driving experience

NZ Citizen or Resident

Eligibility to work in NZ and/or a valid NZ work visa

Must take pride in their work and the company vehicles
