About the role

Devonport 1st Pharmacy is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Retail Assistant to join our team in Devonport , Auckland. As a Pharmacy Retail Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and support to our customers. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing pharmacy business.

What you'll be doing

  1. Providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service to our customers
  2. Assisting with the sale of over-the-counter medications, health and beauty products
  3. Restocking and maintaining the presentation of the retail area
  4. Processing payments and completing sales transactions
  5. Answering customer inquiries and directing them to the appropriate staff members
  6. Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and compliance regulations
  7. Participating in staff training and development programs

What we're looking for

  1. Strong customer service skills and a passion for providing excellent care to customers
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  3. Basic knowledge of pharmacy products and services
  4. Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately
  5. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including one day weekend is preferable.
  6. Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred but not essential
