Maternity Leave Cover – Part-Time (Potential for Full-Time)

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Household Assistant / Housekeeper to join our small, like-minded team based in Remuera.

This is a hands-on, varied role supporting the smooth day-to-day running of a private, high-end household. You'll be responsible for everything from housekeeping and laundry to meal preparation, errands, and household organisation.

Initially a part-time position min. 19 hours per week (maternity leave coverage), however there is potential to increase hours or move to full-time for the right candidate.

• General housekeeping duties and light cleaning for a daily reset of the household. NB we have cleaners once per week for the deep clean
• Make beds, laundry, ironing, and wardrobe care
• Family-style cooking and meal preparation
• All household provisioning and general errands
• Home organisation
• Light administration / receipt management

• Experience in private homes, superyachts, or luxury hospitality
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of pride in your work
• Self-motivated with excellent time management
• Able to multitask, problem-solve, and prioritise effectively
• High energy and enjoys a role that keep you active and physical
• Flexible, adaptable, and calm under pressure
• Warm, professional, and discreet with excellent people skills
• Confident with email, calendar, and company apps
• Full, clean driver's licence and reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursed)
• Legally entitled to work in New Zealand
