Seisma is growing, and we're excited to welcome a Senior Salesforce Developer to our Wellington-based Salesforce Practice. This is a permanent role for an experienced Salesforce professional who thrives in hands-on technical delivery and enjoys shaping scalable, modern Salesforce solutions for enterprise clients across New Zealand.

About the Role

As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you'll play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce solutions. You'll work closely with Solution Architects, Consultants, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, secure, and maintainable Salesforce applications.

While the core of the role focuses on hands-on Salesforce development, exposure to or working knowledge of OmniStudio (FlexCards, OmniScripts, DataRaptors) will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement high-quality Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and configuration.
  • Provide technical leadership on solution design, development best practices, and coding standards.
  • Collaborate with architects and functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Build integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware patterns, and platform events.
  • Support full SDLC delivery including design, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and provide mentorship to junior developers.
  • Leverage or grow your knowledge of OmniStudio tools including FlexCards, OmniScripts, Integration Procedures, and DataRaptors.
  • Ensure solutions align with Salesforce security, governance, and performance standards.

What You'll Bring

  • 5-8 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, Flows, and core Salesforce configuration.
  • Experience with APIs, integrations, and event-driven or middleware-based architectures.
  • Exposure to OmniStudio components (preferable but not mandatory).
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Salesforce Developer certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II) are a strong plus.
