Refrigeration Engineer

Stewart and Holland are locally owned, proudly servicing Mid Canterbury and beyond for over 90 years specialising in Domestic and Commercial Installation and Servicing of Air Conditioning, Mechanical Services, Electrical, Hydronic Underfloor Heating, Refrigeration/Dairy Refrigeration systems and Solar.

Due to an increase in our workload we are looking for a Refrigeration Engineer to primarily be working within the Dairy Refrigeration field installing, maintaining and servicing all types of units - DX systems, Water chillers, Ice banks, Snap chillers and more. Previous training and experience would be an advantage.

This vacancy could also suit an Electrician wanting a change in direction or more variety of work.

To be part of our great team you will:

• Have a high degree of self motivation, including the ability to work unsupervised with a safety first attitude and focus.
• Be registered with the EWRB as an Electrical Service Technician.
• Be a good communicator and have excellent customer skills.
• Be flexible with ability to take responsibility.
• Have the ability to be part of the On-Call team.
• Have a current Full NZ drivers license.
• Have good time management skills.
• Have accurate job recording skills.

Any of the following training would be an advantage:

• Site Safe (Construction and Working at heights) EWP.
• Have experience with Domestic Air Conditioning (Hi wall, Cassette, Floor console and Ducted systems).
