About the Role

As a key member of the six-strong executive leadership team, the Chief Financial Officer will oversee all financial operations of this multimillion-dollar organisation. This pivotal position blends strategic vision with hands-on operational oversight across the businesses, head office, IT and maintenance departments.

The CFO will provide insightful financial leadership to the board, executive team, and wider organisation, ensuring sustainable growth and continued long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive profitability while balancing economic conditions with ILT's strategic objectives
  • Lead financial reporting, cashflow forecasting, budgeting, investment decisions and insurance management
  • Deliver clear, timely board reporting and advice
  • Oversee tax compliance and annual reporting requirements
  • Develop and implement best-practice asset management systems, including property rentals and leases
  • Champion strategic risk management frameworks
  • Identify and execute continuous improvement opportunities in processes and operations
  • Lead and inspire the finance, IT, and maintenance teams
  • Analyse financial data to uncover efficiencies and guide operational strategy
  • Promote a culture of health, safety, and wellbeing across ILT.

About You

We're seeking a proven financial leader who thrives in complex environments and brings both technical expertise and strategic vision.

You will have:

  • A Chartered Accountancy qualification and experience as a CFO or senior finance leader
  • Expertise in balance sheet management, working capital optimisation, cashflow forecasting and risk assessment
  • Hands-on experience in cost control, risk minimisation and delivering innovative projects
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and align teams behind a clear vision
  • Exceptional communication skills to translate complex financial strategies into commercial outcomes
  • Experience building and managing strategic relationships
  • Knowledge of information, property and asset management.
