Are you ready to swap your desk for one of the most stunning and remote corners of Aotearoa? We're on the lookout for a Customer Sales Consultant to join our tight-knit team on Rakiura (Stewart Island), where your job is literally to help people have the time of their lives.

This isn't your average customer service gig. You'll be the friendly face welcoming guests to our island paradise, helping them book unforgettable tours, explore local gems, and discover everything RealNZ and Stewart Island have to offer. From retail to reservations, from the wharf to the wild - this is a multi-faceted role for someone who loves variety, people, and the great outdoors.

What you'll be doing:

  • Be the ultimate host - greet guests, share your local knowledge, and help them plan their perfect island experience.
  • Sell the dream - promote and book tours, cruises, and experiences (and yes, you get to try them all yourself).
  • Support operations - help with ferry check-ins, luggage, and even line handling at the wharf.
  • Keep things running smoothly - from rental vehicles to freight logistics, you'll be part of the action.
  • Be a connector - know what other local operators offer and help guests make the most of their time here.

What we're looking for:

  • A people-person with a passion for travel and storytelling
  • Experience in customer service and/or sales
  • Great communication and a proactive, can-do attitude
  • A full driver's licence (P endorsement is a bonus)
