Frontline Lead

HealthZone Medicalis a family-oriented GP practice based in Rosedale, Auckland within the AUT Millennium complex. We support a wide range of clients, from our own patients to the general public and businesses in our area.

We are a close-knit team so a warm, friendly and empathetic manner is a must. We believe in delivering excellent care to our patients so a desire to help people is essential. A sense of humour would fit right in.

Our business hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm with following shifts for our admin team that are rotated between members:

· Opening shift: 7:45am – 4:45pm.

· Closing shift: 8:15am – 5:15pm.

The position

We are looking for a full time (40 hours) Frontline Lead to join our team in January 2026. As Frontline Lead, you'll be reporting and working closely with the Practice Manager. Your duties would include:

• Working frontline/at reception (including but not limited to greeting patients, checking them in for appointments, taking bookings, invoicing and taking payment, processing enrolments, answering phones and answering emails).
• Liaising with internal clinical staff and, when necessary, external providers.
• Completing a range of administrative tasks such as GP2GP, debt recovery, processing enrolments, scanning, and filing.
• Coordination and support of the reception team.
• Overseeing the smooth running of reception (including but not limited to overseeing accurate billing, payment, accounts recovery and proactive appointment template management).
• Problem solving and resolution.
• Customer service resolution.

• Be able to prioritise tasks and complete them within a timely manner.

You'll have the following experience:

· years' experience in medical reception, overseeing a team (or assisting a manager to do so).

· Experience with MedTech Evolution is essential.

· Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) is essential.

The rewards

The role offers hourly pay which is dependent on skill level and experience. Starting rate is $32/hour.
