Store Manager – Dairy / Convenience Store

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Store Manager to take charge of the daily

operations of our busy dairy/convenience store.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of retail operations, excellent customer

service skills, and the ability to lead a small team to maintain smooth store performance.

Key Responsibilities


• Determine appropriate product mix, stock levels, and service standards based on

customer needs.


• Plan and implement purchasing and marketing policies, including setting prices and

promotions.


• Promote and advertise store products and services to attract and retain customers.


• Serve customers, handle sales, and provide advice on product use.


• Maintain accurate records of stock, sales, and financial transactions.


• Manage store budgets to achieve targets and control costs.


• Select, train, and supervise staff to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.


• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and food handling regulations.

Requirements


• Proven experience in retail or convenience store management.


• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.


• Ability to work independently and manage a small team.


• Good understanding of stock control, pricing, and customer service.


• Must be reliable, honest, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends or public

holidays if required.

What We Offer


• Competitive hourly rate between $30.00 and $35.00, depending on experience.
