Join our Statutory Appointments & Integrity Services team and play a vital role in shaping the future of health governance in Aotearoa. We're responsible for delivering high-quality work programmes that support strong leadership across the health and disability sector. In this position, you'll ensure the Ministry's appointments process runs smoothly, efficiently, and on time - helping us build boards that make a real difference to health outcomes for all New Zealanders.

  • Purpose-driven work: Every appointment you manage helps shape the governance of health services nationwide.
  • High-level exposure: Work closely with Ministers and senior leaders, providing trusted advice on statutory appointments.
  • Innovation and improvement: Lead process enhancements and create tools to strengthen and improve the team's work.

  • Proven organisational skills with the ability to think ahead, use initiative, establish priorities and meet deadlines whilst preserving high levels of accuracy and confidentiality

  • Understanding of Government processes and systems
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to foster good stakeholder relationships
