Join us as a Portables Operator in the Canterbury Region

We have and exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Operator to join our Quarries team in Christchurch. You will operate a portable crushing plant and other machinery to help deliver work for our customers safely, on time and to the highest quality standard.

In addition to the above you will:

• Perform daily machine checks and monitor/maintain the portable crushing plant.
• Operate loaders and other machinery to load the crusher plant, stockpiling and occasionally load trucks.
• Interact with external and internal customers.

We're looking for someone with:

• Full Class 2 licence with WTR Endorsements.
• Previous experience operating heavy machinery e.g. loaders.
• Flexibility to work away from home as and when required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Experience in the mining or quarrying industry would be advantageous.
• A proactive approach to Health and Safety - it's our #1 priority.
• A positive attitude and the ability to be a strong team player.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• The ability to work unsupervised.
