Tractor Operator - Casual | Sports Field Renovation Project

Are you an experienced Tractor Operator ready for your next big project? We've got an exciting opportunity for you Join our dedicated team in Whangārei, where we specialise in transforming sports fields into high-performance playing surfaces. From local grounds to elite cricket pitches, we're looking for skilled Tractor Operators to start mid-November through to the end of January 2026.

About the role:

As a Tractor Operator, you'll be responsible for delivering top-quality work across key areas, including:

  • Drainage Installation: Setting up drainage systems to keep fields in optimal playing condition.
  • Operating Specialised Turf Machinery: Handling tractors, loaders, sand spreaders, trenchers, and more with precision.
  • Field Construction: Getting involved in a variety of tasks to upgrade and enhance sports fields.
  • Team Support: Working alongside the wider team to assist with all aspects of the project.
What we're looking for:
  • A full driver's licence with manual driving experience - Class 2 is also preferred
  • Proven experience operating large machinery such as tractors and loaders.
  • A positive attitude, solid work ethic, and reliable attendance.
  • Great communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • A commitment to delivering high standards and achieving project goals.
