Job Title: EUC Engineer – Contract (Full-time)

Contract Type: Independent Contractor (Full-time, Onsite)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced EUC Engineer for a full-time contract role based in Northcote, Auckland. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Access Control, Active Directory administration, troubleshooting with PowerShell, POS systems, and End User Computing (EUC) support.

This is a hands-on role, requiring problem-solving skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to provide end-to-end user support in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and administer Active Directory (AD) including user accounts, groups, and access rights.
• Perform Access Control management and troubleshooting.
• Execute scripts and perform automation tasks using PowerShell.
• Provide support for POS systems and EUC infrastructure.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for end users.
• Maintain endpoint devices, ensuring compliance with company policies and security standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for escalations and issue resolution.
• Prepare technical documentation and maintain system/process records.

Skills & Experience Required

• 3–5 years' experience in EUC/IT Support engineering roles.
• Proficiency in Active Directory administration.
• Strong working knowledge of PowerShell scripting for troubleshooting and automation.
• Experience with POS systems and EUC technologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Contract Details

• Location: Onsite – Northcote, Auckland 0627.
• Visa Requirement: Only open to New Zealand Citizens, Permanent Residents, or candidates with a valid 1-year Temporary Resident Visa.
• Note: Candidates on student visas will not be considered.
