Senior Waiter

$26–$30 per hour | Christchurch | 5+ years experience

Manu Restaurant & Bar is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Senior Waiter who carries pride in their craft and heart in their service. If you love hospitality, thrive in a buzzing dining room, and bring genuine manaakitanga to every table, you'll fit right in with us.

Manu is a Māori/Pacifica/Asian-inspired restaurant where flavour, culture, and community come together. We honour people — our guests, our whānau, and the stories behind our kai. Our team is vibrant, supportive, and passionate about delivering an experience that feels both elevated and deeply welcoming.

• At least 5 years' experience on the floor in a senior role
• A natural storyteller who can guide guests through our menu with knowledge and warmth
• Confidence running sections and supporting our FOH team
• Strong food and beverage knowledge, especially wines and pairings
• Someone who remains calm, gracious, and solutions-focused under pressure
• A team player who values culture, communication, and respect
• Evening and weekend availability

• $26–$30 per hour, depending on experience
