Water - Senior Hydrogeologist
The Role
Due to paternity leave, we have a Senior Hydrogeologist opportunity available in Christchurch or Auckland. This is a fixed contract for one year.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hydrogeologist to lead technical delivery and provide technical review of hydrogeology projects and hydrogeology inputs into multidisciplinary projects. The Senior Hydrogeologist will work alongside our groundwater specialists to provide consulting services, grow client relationships and secure new opportunities for the wider team. The role includes supporting the development of our hydrogeologists and wider water sector team members.

About You

• Holds a post-graduate qualification in hydrogeology or equivalent
• Minimum of 8 years of post-graduate hydrogeology experience
• Strong technical experience in groundwater modelling in software including SEEP/W, FEFLOW, MODFLOW
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse client base and team members, whilst upholding WSP's guiding principles.
• Excellent report writing skills
• High degree of commercial business acumen
• Relationship-oriented, solutions-focused
• Highly organised, driven and able to prioritise conflicting demands in a busy environment
