We're on the hunt for an outstanding
Quality Advisor
to join our
Tauranga-
based Civil team. You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with our quality experts, driving excellence across multiple civil projects throughout Aotearoa. This is your chance to be part of the crew delivering the good work Fulton Hogan is known for.

The Job
You will be responsible for
providing Quality support and leadership
to develop, implement, verify, maintain and train site-based teams in
quality policies, systems and procedures
necessary to ensure projects are delivered at the highest standard throughout the full project lifecycle. From assisting at project start up, project delivery, and close out, this role is
"hands on" and requires time on-site
and you will be familiar with how processes can/should work in practice.

In a
ddition to the above you will:

  • Ensure the implementation and consistent application of our systems, plans, policies, initiatives and strategy.
  • Build trusting relationships to influence and collaborate on solutions.
  • Support and coach project teams, subbies and clients to deliver all quality aspects of their work.
  • Assisting in the development of site specific Quality management plans & safety in-design methodology.

This role demands

ability to juggle multiple priorities
in a dynamic environment. You'll
champion safety, wellbeing, quality, and environmental excellence
, helping steer everyone aboard the waka with integrity and industry know-how.

Your
people skills
will forge strong, lasting relationships across our whanau - from clients and subcontractors to team members. With your experience and leadership, you'll help drive Fulton Hogan towards our strategic goals.

We're looking for someone with:

  • Civil Engineering qualification
  • At least 2 years' experience
    in a
    Quality or Engineering
    role in
    civil construction
    or similar high-Risk industry
  • Solid knowledge of applicable acts, standards and regulations relating to quality compliance in civil construction activities
  • Outstanding people and communication skills, able to build trust and respect across all levels of our diverse team.
  • Strong organisational ability, efficiently coordinating tasks and adapting to change without missing a beat.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and composure under pressure.
  • Analytical skills - collecting data, researching, compiling insights, and preparing clear reports.
  • Solid experience with the Microsoft Office suite, plus the capability to quickly pick up new systems and applications.
