The Role
This position focuses primarily on performing Warrant of Fitness (WoF) inspections, but also has a secondary focus on undertaking vehicle servicing and repairs across various makes and models. In this key role you will play a crucial role in ensuring vehicle compliance with safety standards, contributing to our commitment to road safety and customer satisfaction.
Day to Day Responsibilities
- Firstly Conducting thorough Warrant of Fitness (WoF) inspections and issuing WoF certificates.
- Secondly Performing detailed diagnostics and repairs on vehicle engines, brakes, steering, electrical and electronic systems, transmissions, and fuel components. Executing light vehicle servicing and maintenance tasks. Utilising diagnostic tools to identify and resolve vehicle issues efficiently.
About You
- Hold a current WoF Inspection Certificate
- Likely to have a trade qualification or relevant industry certification.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in motor vehicle repair industry, with a strong emphasis on safety inspections and compliance.
- Proficient in technical repair work across most common vehicle makes.
- Exceptional diagnostic skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Excellent time management to handle multiple inspections and repairs meticulously.
- Strong understanding of workplace safety and proper use of safety equipment.
- Full NZ driver's license.
