T and T Traffic Management, located in Palmerston North, is a locally owned and operated traffic management company new to the area with a wealth of combined experience across staff within the Traffic Management industry. We are seeking a qualified and experienced Site Traffic Management Supervisor (STMS) to oversee Traffic management operations on various sites across the Manawatu region. As the Site Traffic Management Supervisor some of your key responsibilities will be as follows:

Key Responsibilities

Site Set Up: Setting up, dismantling and overseeing traffic management sites, independently and alongside other TTMW's.

Traffic Management Planning: Implement and oversee traffic management plans in accordance with New Zealand Traffic regulations and standards.

Site Supervision: Manage and supervise traffic management operatives (TMO), Traffic Management Workers (TTM), Pilot Drivers and ensure that all traffic control devices are installed and maintained according to approved plans.

Traffic Direction: Direct traffic and provide clear instructions to motorists and pedestrians to ensure smooth traffic flow and minimize disruptions.

Coordination: Liaise with local authorities, project managers, and other stakeholders to coordinate traffic management activities and ensure minimal disruption to traffic flow.

Mentorship: Provide mentorship and guidance to the junior staff to help ensure everyone is at their best.

Key Attributes:

STMS A/B Practicing Certification or potentially STMS A/B Non-Practicing.

A full class 1 drivers' licence (class 2 would be advantageous)
