Principal / Senior Account Executive

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Corporate team at Marsh. This role will be based in Wellington. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
Principal
We will count on you to:
- Manage the growth, profitability, and client satisfaction of a portfolio of complex accounts by developing and implementing tailored risk management and insurance programs.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships as a trusted advisor through regular engagement and communication at all organisational levels, including C-suite.
- Stay informed on all major insurance classes and product developments, assist in complex claim negotiations, and liaise closely with insurers, clients, and Marsh colleagues.
- Represent Marsh at industry events and client functions to strengthen professional networks and business opportunities.
- Mentor and support individual contributors on your accounts to drive results and enhance client service.
What you need to have:
- 5+ years' experience in corporate or commercial insurance with strong business acumen and knowledge of general business functions and finance.
- Relevant insurance qualifications such as ANZIIF or similar, and achievement of NZ Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5).
- Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and multitasking skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all organisational levels.
- Degree preferred.
