Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is recruiting a Pūkenga - Lecturer or Pūkenga Matua - Senior Lecturer in International Business to join Te Kura Hokohoko, Pakihi ki te Ao - School of Marketing and International Business on a permanent, full-time basis.
This role is located within Orauariki - Wellington School of Business and Government in Wellington, New Zealand. All areas within international business will be considered.
Key responsibilities:
- Undertake teaching and research of high quality.
- Assist in programme development where appropriate.
- Contribute to the effective management of the School, including relationships with practitioner communities.
Ō pūmanawa - About you
Key requirements:
- A completed PhD in International Business (or a closely related discipline).
- An active researcher and enthusiastic teacher, with a record of peer-reviewed journal publications commensurate with the level of appointment.
- In addition to the research and service engagements, the candidate will be expected to teach international business courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
We need the successful candidate to start in January 2026.
