SKOPE has a newly created role for an FP & A Analyst to join their Commercial Finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone who's passionate about turning data into insight and wants to build toward a Finance Business Partnering career.

What you'll be doing

You'll play a key role in bringing together quality business performance reporting and insights, working closely with teams across SKOPE to understand their challenges and opportunities. By getting out into the business — asking questions, listening, and learning — you'll help ensure the finance team delivers reporting that truly supports decision-making.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and reforecasting processes
• Maintain and enhance financial planning models
• Assist with month-end, board, and executive reporting
• Help automate reporting and streamline processes
• Pull together data from the ERP (JD Edwards) using tools such as Excel, Power BI and reporting module (Reports Now)
• Provide analytical support and insight to the Head of Commercial Finance and FP & A and the Finance Business Partnering team

What you'll bring

You'll have a strong foundation in finance and accounting and the hunger to learn, challenge the status quo, and continuously improve. You'll be confident with numbers and data but equally comfortable building relationships across the business.

We're looking for someone who has:

• Solid experience in Excel and Power BI (with support from SKOPE'S Digital team — no need to be an IT guru)
• A proactive "can-do" approach and willingness to get involved across the business
• Sound analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail
• A tertiary qualification in a Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Experience in manufacturing is a bonus but not essential if you're keen to learn
