Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately measure and prepare subfloors for new installations

  • Lay carpet, vinyl and laminate flooring to client specifications

  • Cut and trim materials for tight, professional finishes

  • Seam and stretch carpet using industry-standard tools

  • Install underlayments and adhesives safely and efficiently

  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality and compliance

  • Maintain tools, equipment and work vehicles in good order

  • Communicate closely with site supervisors and clients to keep projects running on schedule

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a carpet, vinyl and/or laminate installer (minimum 2 years)

  • Strong knowledge of installation techniques, adhesives and underlayments

  • Comfortable working on both residential and light commercial sites

  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to a high-quality finish

  • Full driver's licence (Class 1) and reliable transport

  • Site Safe or willingness to obtain certification
