Massage Therapist

Our Workplace is at CBD Dunedin, Otago, New Zealand.

**Position requirement**:
Qualified with relevant certificate/ diploma/ degree in Massage or TCM, and preferably experienced Massage therapist in NZ or Australia with basics of relaxation/ therapeutic sports/ deep tissue massage styles.

**Or** has been working over 5 years in Massage practical work in NZ or Australia with valid visas or citizenship of NZ.

**Main tasks and responsibilities**:
1)Massaging the soft tissues of the body, such as muscles, tendons and ligaments, to assist healing;
2)Utilizing a range of massage techniques to enhance sports performance and prevent injury;
3)Administering treatments to promote relaxation, improve circulation, relieve muscle tension and stress, enables toxins to be pushed out of the body and get the body realigned.

4)Assessing and treating specific soft tissue dysfunction and providing rehabilitation advice;
5)Employing other techniques, such as complementary aids, such as wheat bag, essential oils and herbal reflexology massage, to assist recovery;
6) Discuss clients' problems and assessing client's physical condition and case history and advising on stretching exercises and relaxation techniques and lifestyle needs.

**Salary**: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
