**About the Role**

Fixed Term 6 Months Covering Leave

Based at our Retail Store **1412 Omahu Road, Hastings** you'll greet customers with a smile and 'can do' attitude, talk to them either in person or over the phone, finding out their product needs to ensure they get the best value option for their project.

We all work as part of team here so helping in the yard putting orders together, putting product away and using the forklift will also be required.

Standard hours of work are Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. Saturday morning is worked on a roster amongst the team.

**Skills and Experience**

While a background in sales, customer service or farming may be an advantage, as training will be provided, it is more important that you are able to demonstrate:

- Self-motivation and reliability.
- Honesty, integrity and a commitment to deliver what you promise.
- A friendly, energetic and positive personality.
- Physical fitness appropriate for lifting timber/posts with a commitment to safe work practices.
- A willingness to be trained and learn new skills.

Full driver's licence and F endorsement an advantage.
