**About the Role**

We have an exciting opportunity for a Computational Modelling Physicist to join our Chemistry and Physics Research Group. In this role, you will support research in bioenergy, bio-based manufacturing, and sustainable process development through process simulation, thermodynamic modelling, and computational physics.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and refine computational models for bioenergy and bio-based processes.
- Support process modelling and techno-economic analysis to optimise bio-based and energy systems.
- Contribute to internal reports, research publications, and technical documentation.
- Engage in multi-disciplinary discussions, supporting the integration of computational physics across research areas.

**What You Will Bring**
- PhD in Physics or Engineering, or a Master's degree with mínimal experience outside of academia.
- Strong expertise in thermodynamics, energy physics, and mathematical modelling.
- Experience with computational modelling tools (e.g., MATLAB, COMSOL, Aspen Plus, Python).
- Understanding of heat and mass transfer, fluid dynamics, and process modelling for bio-based systems.
- Ability to analyse complex systems, develop process models, and validate simulations.
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills to contribute to research papers and reports.
