Our client is a well established family owned and run business. Ethically farmed premium New Zealand wholesalers of beef, lamb & pork. Conveniently located just minuets off SH1 Taupiri exit, they require strong hard working meat process workers to join their expanding team.
Duties include:
- Meat Processing Trimming & Grading carcasses
- Wrapping and packing Machine technician work
- Cleaning specialized equipment
- Following Health & Safety policies
- Observing quality control Temperature control during packing
- Ensuring work areas remain in a clean, tidy and in an orderly state
- Cleaning and sterilizing of equipment and surrounding areas
- Monitor product weights Supervise cleaning chemicals usage
- Sorting and Wrapping individual cuts of meat
You will have:
- Chilled production environment experience
- Be physically fit, lifting sheep, pig & beef carcasses
- Strong attention to detail, holding pride in the hard work you do
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong work ethic
- GMP experience - ideal but not essential
- Knife skills - ideal but not essential
