We are rapidly growing and are seeking new Cloud Solutions Engineers to join our Continuous Computing Practice that provide specialist cloud platform, infrastructure, network and software services to our customers. Our team of engineers engage on the implementation, operation and management of cloud platforms including hybrid and cloud-native platforms. This position can be located in Auckland, Christchurch or Wellington. As an experienced engineer, you will have CI/CD and SRE skills and will work across the Theta practices to deliver operational services to our customers using industry best practices around DevOps.
In this role we expect you to be part of activities to provide continuous environment deployment, operations and optimisation, as well as be part of the projects' lifecycle from the get-go.

Skills and experience | Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako
- 3+ years of commercial and hands-on engineering experience and providing cloud services delivery
- Solid experience with DevOps practices and Azure and/or AWS
- Experience in solution implementation and operating of cloud based services, including IaaS, PaaS and serverless offerings
- Working knowledge of serverless architectures
- Understanding of networking in hybrid and cloud native environments desirable
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills, a knack for problem solving and a passion for ensuring clients receive exceptional quality of service is a must.

**Nice to have**:

- Hands on experience of containers and container orchestration in production environments an advantage
- Operational experience of broader enterprise infrastructure environments
- Experience with a wide variety of open-source technologies and cloud services
