To do this we believe that people matter. We are looking for an Intermediate Software Developer to join our team. Nomos One is a remote-first company with employees working from all corners of New Zealand.

**Intermediate Software Developer Overview**:
Nomos One is looking for an experienced intermediate software developer to increase the capabilities of the development team as the company expands and scales its offering.

**Description of Duties**:

- Develops software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.
- Ensures that all development artefacts (source code, scripts and documentation) meet Nomos one’s software required development standards, including peer code review.
- Improves operations by conducting systems analysis; recommending changes in policies and procedures.
- Updates job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
- Can accomplish engineering and organization mission based on agreed objectives.
- Respect and support all internal teams such as Sales, Support, Customer Services, Finance, Marketing and Management teams.

**Required Technical Skills/Experience**:

- Hands on experience with React or NodeJS
- Experience with relational or non-relational databases
- Cloud experience, any of AWS, Azure, GCP
- Version control, Git
- Worked with a collaborative team in an Agile environment

**Preferred Skills/Experience**:

- Hands on experience with Typescript
- Worked on AWS Lambda, SQS, EventBridge, DynamoDB
