**Team Summary**

The Specialist Platform Engineer - Database Administrator (DBA) is a member of a cross-functional Operations Engineering team responsible for running our Visa Spend Clarity for Enterprises production infrastructure and delivering to our platform modernization strategy.

You will be part of a critical global function within our Visa Spend Clarity for Enterprises product at a time we are modernising our platform by investing heavily in cloud infrastructure and automation that enables autonomous teams innovate and scale our product to a much wider range of issuers. This is a key focus area within Visa Business Solutions with large growth ambitions.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.

**Qualifications**:
What you will need:

- Experience with Cloud/SaaS technical web environments
- Experience supporting geographically disperse systems across multiple time zones.
- Microsoft SQL Server 2014 and above, in a multi-node cluster configuration. Production environment exposure to SQL Server 2017 or SQL 2019 would be advantageous.
- Experience with SQL Server in Public Cloud systems - must cover AWS
- Data integration and data file handling.
- Experience with performance optimization and debugging of complex SQL environments.
- Experience with scripted automation of processes with PowerShell and other orchestration tools
