We are working with a large insurance broking client of ours to seek an Insurance Broker to add to their already-strong Fire & General division with a keen interest in Marine insurance. Their Commercial, Domestic and Marine Brokers are spread across New Zealand.

As the Insurance Broker, you will be responsible for the professional management of all assigned Marine clients, ensuring strong and effective client relationships are maintained and built. You will build up internal and external relationships with Domestic and F&G Brokers, Claims teams, Insurers/Underwriters and various other individuals.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Create your own network of referrals and new business leads
- Build insurance knowledge across the range of products the company offers
- Record all client interactions, including meetings and phone calls; maintain tidy and easy-to-follow OneNotes
- Ensure all legislative, internal compliance and relevant underwriter information is received from the client.

**About you**:

- Completed Level 5 Certificate in Fire and General Insurance, or near completion
- Have a solid understanding of the General Insurance market
- Experience in a Fire and General Insurance or Marine role is desired
- Strong written and verbal communications skills; with the confidence to deal with stakeholders
- Motivated and passionate with the ability to grow the business
