We currently have several full-time permanent vacancies available for HVAC/ Duct Installer to join our team.

**Job duties and responsibilities would include the following -**
- Heating, ventilation, air conditioning in a commercial environment and some duct installation Experience.
- Assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial and domestic air conditioning and refrigeration systems and equipment as needed.
- Wrap pipes and ducts in insulation, securing it in place with straps or wire bands
- Record and report all faults, deficiencies, and other unusual occurrences, as well as the time and materials expended on work orders
- Inspect current HVAC systems for effectiveness and safety.
- Troubleshoot current HVAC system issues and repair damaged HVAC systems
- Fabricates, assembles and installs sheet metal products and equipment.
- Assemble, position, and mount heating or cooling equipment by following blueprints.
- Comply with applicable standards, policies, and procedures, including safety procedures.
- Installation and service of heat pumps and associate ducting.
- Study blueprints, design specifications, or manufacturer’s recommendation to ascertain the configuration of heating or cooling equipment component to ensure the proper installation of components.

**Additional Requirements**
- One year of relevant work experience OR relevant qualification at Level 6
- Can-do attitude and high work ethics.
- Attention to details to achieve a high standard of workmanship is imperative.
- Proactive in maintaining a safe work environment.
- Organizational skills and sound communication skills to interact with the team for completion of project tasks.
- Ability to work with a high level of autonomy.
- Must be a team player with the ability to work unsupervised.
- You must be available to work on Saturdays, If Required.
- You may also be required to work in the Hamilton, Waikato region
- Travel to job sites in the service area and work with dispatch to ensure the schedule is maintained and delays are effectively communicated to customers.

**Minimum working Hours**:

- 30 hours per week

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
